Sustainability and Ethics

Lifescapes and Landscapes offers nature themed products with original images shot and/or designed by photographer Paul Punzo.

We believe that merchandise celebrating nature should not harm nature, and that no company should profit from the labor (think sweat shops) and environmental exploitation (local and global pollution) that too often remains the norm for textile companies.

All of our product prints are created with vegan inks that do not pollute local water supplies. We also offer Organic options for some apparel designs, and have partnered with a company that uses multiple print houses in many countries. This helps with supply chain issues, and sometimes shortens the delivery distances (and lessens the associated carbon footprint) for orders.

Importantly, our partner company employs only print houses that comply with a set of guidelines governing high ethical standards for employees (fair wages/fair hours), environmentally sustainable practices, and quality control.

As with all print on demand companies, we only print orders as they come in, which means no extra unwanted stock, or waste.

In addition, if you go to your cart before checkout, you will see an optional carbon offset app that generates a small charge which appears as an item in your cart. Feel free remove it, and that amount will not be applied to your order. Leaving it in your cart provides funds for a carbon offset program that helps counteract the emissions generated in both production and shipping for your order.

Delivery Times

If you order more than one product, those products may be shipped separately, each taking a different amount of time to arrive. Our products ship from various certified print houses around the globe. This reduces some delivery times, and not having one central hub print house also potentially lessens the distances (and associated carbon foot print) between the destination and the source. Our Non-Organic clothing options ordered in the US are usually printed in the US, and they take 7 to 14 days to arrive at a US destination from the date of order. Our Organic Apparel, and some Mugs, are currently only printed in Europe, and those deliveries can take 18-24 day to arrive at a US address as customs holds these items for at least a week.
